Weekend Football Thread 21-23 *spoilers*

Darren Bent has been more use to Spurs since we sold him to Sunderland than he was the whole 2 years as a Spurs player.

Scores the winner against Arsenal and Liverpool and takes points off Man U. Then misses a penalty against us at WHL and gifts us 3 points :)

Very good 2nd half performance - thought 1st half was too bity (I guess after International break its not surprising)

Good to see Vidic back, and Evra played brilliantly really linking with Giggs very well (although Giggs seemed to waste a load of corners)

Everton had their chances but Rafael isnt known for his defensive displays but he did ok

Glad to have that done and dusted and to have 3 points over Arsenal (even if they have a game in hand), but Utd really need to push on at Pompey next weekend and have just as good a performance

Evra was awesome especially in the second half, unstoppable

Did he play all 120 minutes in Paris? If so that makes it even better comparing with Sagna's performance

I think he been on that kind of form for a good 18 months. He is one of those players who will give you at least 7/10 performance week in week out. Despite some peoples musings on a full back's responsibility, he is equally as good at attacking as defending
 
I thought Evra fell off the pace a bit at the end of last season, and at the very start of this season. Can't of being many games in total.

Best left back in the world for me on form over the past 18 months as well.
 
Evra seems to be pacing himself better this season. He is attacking far more in the 2nd half now than the first (although today it was less obvious than it has been).
