Weekend Football Thread 31-2 *spoilers*

Oh ffs.

Well, here you go Gibbs. Hopefully he can show something of himself before Chelsea at the end of the month.

Yep, Gibbs is a worthy replacement. Clichy hasn't been playing well, but Saturday was his best game for some time, and it's a blow to have one LB (Traoré is injured too) and to lose someone with so much experience (relatively when compared to most).

It does seem odd this is the 3rd back (4th if you include Gilbert) in 3 years.

Errr owned as they say

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport/default.stm look at the ticker...

**** My bad then. Strange that they both have back injury's though. :( Gibbs was alright last time Clichy was out so hopefully he can do the job again. :)

It's not that I dislike Song, I just think we need better until he improves more. I think that I took the spelling thing to heart so sorry for the sharpish reply that I gave you, I shouldn't really squabble with fellow Gooners tbh. :(

Unless it's Drunkenmaster:p

BBC claimed it was a stress fracture at first, but now it looks like it's just a injury, and he's having a scan to see if there is a break.

Denilson found the break when we played Olympiacos and is out for at least 2 months from then + so I'd expect Clichy to be for a similar time, Gilberto was out for 7 months iirc, Gilbert was out for 2 months according to Wiki.

Well let's hope we get Clichy back soon! I can't wait for the match on Wednesday to check out Gibbs. RVP is on fire at the moment as well. There was something on Arsenal's website about Denilson's back injury. I wonder if this will be a recurring thing for Gael.
