That's twice Bent has done that in this game... Gomes needs to be more aware of the gay tactic that is the 'toe-poke and somersault for a penalty'

One of a wide range of superb saves today.
 
Fantastic Subs by BFS, taking Diouf anf Gamst off and giving Roberts and McCarthy a go. As good as Diouf was last season he's not been great so far during this one and Peds has been absent for the last 3 years. Fingers crossed we can get the win.

The first one definately not as Gomes clearly gets the ball. Defoe also had a shout for a penalty a few seconds later.

Gomes got ball for first.

2nd, Bent dived before anywhere near Gomes and even then, minimal contact.



He wasn't.

Well, he was, but as part of a 3 man strike force.


We've only now gone to 4-4-2.
