Weekend Football Thread. *spoilers* 11-14

What makes me laugh the most is he said the day before the match that he will never forgive the Arsenal fans for the abuse he got...wow talk about throwing your toys out of the pram...is he really that pathetic that he cant let it go??...FFS the money grabbing muppet has gone to another team...why does he still feel the need to go on about how he was treated by fans at his previous team??. I think he did it on purpose ie his actions before and during the game to antagonise the Arsenal fans...he got what he deserved imho and i honestly cant summon up any sympathy for the money grabbing tit.

Personally i dont think he should have said such a thing...he needs to be above all this kiddie playground behaviour imho.

I hope he does an Arsenal at Man City ie has a sterling first season then the next few seasons he doesnt perform...i wonder if the Man City fans will still sing his praises when he cant be bothered to put any effort in games.

Mercenaries.

It;s the same with Tevez, he's done nothing but moan about the way he was treated since he left us. Made me smile like a Chesire cat when he was on the bench for the first few games. :D

Muppets.

I'd happily get paid 10% of his wage just to get shouted at for 90mins by a crowd of arsenal fans. Complaining about it just makes you look weak really..

I would pay 5% of my wages to be able to **** the Gooners off every week :D

I love Citys new ethic, slowing taking the crown of the the club to hate.

You would still find some reason to moan about United.

The thing about being jeered by fans is a crap excuse because, lets be honest most fans at game, or a "lot" of fans, at every club spend a LOT of time chanting disgusting things at players. No I don't think clubs should be held accountable for free speech as disgusting as it is. Should Arsenal ban fans who cause trouble even if the trouble isn't picked up on, yes, should every club, yes. Should those making peado chants at Wenger, talking about Defoe dying, chants about hillsborough and other things get clubs in trouble, unless its everyone no, but should all clubs be trying hard to remove those people yes. Its freespeech, I don't think people should get in trouble, but its the clubs right to exclude lets be honest, nasty people aswell.

But back to Ade, I'm sure Arsenal players were getting crap from City fans, and Defoe didn't provoke the crowd when he got those chants, nor to most players react. Thats opposing fans aswell, Adebayor was a *** while at Arsenal, yet the Arsenal fans were the ones paying him every week, for best part of 3 years.

I say Ade can chant back and call fans names WHEN he pays their salarys. LIkewise right after the game he was saying it was emotional, but was talking about things fans were writing about him recently, he clearly was going to do this no matter what the fans did during the game. So because random person X writes something on a forum he decided, BEFORE THE GAME, to wind up these fans who so far had done nothing personally to him at all, that isn't on, its deplorable full stop. Any player acting as he did would get crap, and 1000's of players have put up with FAR WORSE abuse for far longer and not reacted.

Was it Ade's fault a fan threw a missile, no, was it the Arsenal teams or the other 99.9% of fans, no. IF they get him on vid, a nice lifetime ban from all footballing offences and even charges if the Steward wants to press them I back fully. The few fans behaviour was appaling, one bad act does not excuse another bad act. Had the fans done nothing all game, and no one threw anything people would have been saying he acted badly anyway, a few fans reaction doesn't change how he behaved.

The sad thing is - that kind of abuse is normal for many players.
Its vile and disgusting but it happens in most PL matches from what I have seen.

I couldn't help myself from having a giggle at seeing him on the bench, that and he's costing them the best part of 50 million :)

IF he scores in the Manchester derby I wonder what his celebration will be like :p

He'll run the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of opposing fans, he'll almost break Carrick's leg and he'll stomp on Valencia's face. :D
