Another reason why Liverpool should have a player on the post and its pointless to have 10 players in the box.
Even with twice as many defenders as attackers they can't defend set plays/corners properly.

This game is really weird, its like someone flicks a switch and something happens and then it goes back to being quite poor and slow.
We really need to stop being sloppy in possession and have more alertness, especially Carra and Skrtel. Both of them have been dawdling like idiots and its cost us.

It probably was a foul yes, but he goes down so easily and his arms start flapping like he is Morrissey. Contact was so minimal but it was always going to be given as a foul. I'm not trolling, I just see it a lot from him and get annoyed because he is always the one preaching about how he hates diving and how it spoils the game.
The only way they will show it is if the player that got booked for the challenge (which was super harsh imo) gets sent off for a 2nd bookable offense.
EDIT I didn't see the incident last week but it kind of backs up my point. It gets no coverage because he is English and not Wayne Rooney. I can think of numerous instants just off the top of my head of similar incidents but I don't want to start a silly debate about it.

Our defense was absolutely awful today, just shocking at times. I wish there was someone in our team that would scream at Carragher, you know, like he does to everyone else.

Such a frustrating performance today. Gerrard was well off the pace, Carra's way off form and Benayoun's back to his old ways of taking just 1 more touch. Oh and Andre Marriner's quite possibly the worst official ever.

Its too early to say imo, long way to go.. however I'll have a sportsmans bet that the 'pool finish lower than Arse this season. They're too reliant on Torres and Gerrard imo and their defence doesnt look too great atm.
Gerrard was really poor during the week I thought, why he was playing so deep ive no idea. He wasnt much better today, certainly not as influential over the past couple of games as you would expect.
Torres scored a fantastic goal today, but to me he doesnt look happy, whether thats tiredness or not, I don't know, but for me its Arsenal to finish in the top 4 with Liverpool in 5th.
