Weekend Football Thread. *spoilers* 18-22

Nobody can say we didn't deserve that after the 2nd half. Giggs was amazing!!! Back on top, where we belong!! (althought probably not for long)

WHAT A GAME!!

Most exciting finish to a United match since we beat Bayern. For those saying too much stoppage time was played, 30 seconds is added on for a sub and then there was the goal. He scored on 95:14 I believe so it doesn't seem unreasonable. Edit: BBC says 95:28

Fletcher and Ando were immense today, Valencia showed he should have started, Owen did what he does best. But there is only one player to talk about after that match.

Ryan Giggs, best performance by him since the Chelsea match last year, 3 assists, unlucky not to score and some tremendous dribbling.

Carlos who?

It's called "Play till United score, then wrap it up".

It's been happening for years so it's no surprise - I think City have every right to feel aggrieved.

Oh please stop whining, I don't see anyone moaning, when Liverpool used to get last minute winners or winners deep into 'Mysterious' injury time in the 80's & 90's

so that makes 94:30 so we shouldn't have got to 95:28

Indeed, Giggs looked very good and comfortable playing a more central role.

I was really impressed by Anderson as well :)

Teams know this happens at certain places with regard to added on time ......

Why couldn't City just retain possession of the football after they equalised to see the game out.

Loving the people fuming at added time, 4 mins was put up, then they scored, add a extra minute onto added time, then city kicked the ball away when we got a freekick, stop the clock when things like this happen you would have been near enough 4 mins, if city deserved the draw and carried on till the whistle blown it probably would have ended 3-3

where did my post go ? :o

it wasn't a valid on topic post and questions regarding moderating are to be made by email/RTM not on the forum

Never seen that myself. Dont understand why people say it either? It's not like the ref gets payed off by alex is it? Or alex is on the pitch telling him not to blow.

I've seen loads of teams score late in extra time like this, liverpool ive seen do it loads more than utd

I'm not a hardcore fan anymore due to comments like the above, only seems to happen when its Man Utd, diff story when its another team lol :p

Who cares about the stoppage time so he added another minute and a half. They shouldn't have celebrated their goal as much as they did!!

We deserved the win full stop hahahaha!

Remember this from the United - Arsenal game in May?
Minimum of 3 minutes extra time shown, United make a sub which should add extra 30 secs and guess what - ref blows on 2 mins 50 secs
Smell a rat?
