God damnit, will we not have some kind of thorough investigation of our entirely useless medical staff, either its crap physio's, crap doctors, someones entirely crap and someone is responsible for it. How many times do we misdiagnose problems and have niggling small injuries turn into whole seasons out.
The question is, other than the fact he would have had the surgery immediately, a more serious injury would have been taken more seriously, for all they know moving around on it when it should have been operated on for, almost two weeks, could have made it significantly worse in the first place.
I don't like excuses being made though, 8 first team players out, horse crap. Is it 3 right now, I'm so bored with looking at every player who might start a game eventually and counting them as first team. We've got 8 injuries in the SQUAD, 3 of which would be starters in Clichy, RVP and Gallas, if he is injured. Bendtner is no where near a certain starter, though with RVP out he probably would have. At least Bendtners only two weeks away, hopefully, but meh, he's not a good lone striker, neither is Eduardo, together in a 4-4-2 they work very well, Eduardo and Bendtner are no where near as effective out on the wing either.
Comparing Song to Essien and saying he's been almost as good, is embarassing for everyone involved. Not least because when Essien runs absolute rings around Song, people will laugh at you, nor because Song played in the Chelsea game last year, where he was abysmal, had rings run around him and chelsea utterly thrashed us.
