Manchester United keeper Edwin van der Sar will miss the start of the season after undergoing surgery on a broken finger and bone in his left hand.

Is WBA vs Newcastle on telly then? Might be worth a cheeky, footy-deprived watch.

It's on BBC1, some sick, twisted, voyeuristic act by a so called national institution.

Although we might get to see the mighty 16 year old Vuckic. :D

Newcastle team will probably be something like this:

-----------------Harper-----------------
------------------------------------------
R.Taylor---S.Taylor---Kadar---Enrique
------------------------------------------
Jonas-----Barton------Smith------Duff
------------------------------------------
------------------Nolan------------------
------------------------------------------
-----------------Carroll-----------------

Hopefully with Kazenga, Ranger and Vuckic on the bench.

Yeh heard good things about Vuckic... and Kadar...

Hope we can hang onto them and they blossom for us...

But not getting any hopes up, you know how it is :p

Tis on BBC, a chance for the nation to laugh at us....

Very excited about the opening local derby against the Dingles :]

Can't wait !! :)

*Newcastle are on Sky and BBC a lot this year, Sky showed a lot of Birmingham, why can't they just pic equal games or do a random draw

Nothing against the teams they choose, just would be nice to see other teams play.

S****horpe censored lol.

Hopefully Southampton can get a good start on Sky against Milwall and get rid of the 10 point deduction quickly. I think if we stay on minus points for too long a few of the young heads will drop and the season will be even more difficult than it already could be.

Charity Shield Predictions

It is that time of year again, no I don't mean it is raining!

I mean the charity shield................

Manchester United vs Chelsea

so what are your predictions?

I think its going to either me a complete wipe-out or very very close. I want United to win but a small part of me feels sorry for Chelsea not winning much. :o
