Weekend Football Thread **Spoilers**

Chelsea aren't ready to beat last season's Champions, even though they will be weakened by the loss of Ronaldo and Tevez to some extent.
Chelsea's pre-season against 2 poor MLS sides, 2 half-hearted Italian sides & Reading (who were the best of the 4) is no way to prepare a team under a new manager with his alien system for the reality of English football at the highest level.

Man.U. to win 2-0.

Which by the way will be a bonus as it'll only make Chelsea try harder in training:)

Feel free to discuss this in the weekend football thread ?

Add spoilers to the title in future, you should know that by now:)

Bit nervous about the upcoming weekend. Newly promoted Exeter have two promotions on the bounce under their belts, and we've played a newly relegated Prem side, a new Prem side and a solid Prem side in our last three games, unbeaten in the lot and winning the last.

Set up for a fall?

Two of the biggest teams in the league playing on the first day, why wouldn't it be on the telly?

If you mean why on BBC specifically its because they've bought the rights for about ten games or something this season.

Your second point answered my query.

Biggest team in the league will be playing on SS HD on Friday, should be a cracker. Come on Boro

Soft spot for Cambridge Utd through all their travails, went to see a couple of games while Uni'ing there - Plymouth, Cambridge, Exeter (yes ignore the rivalry), Torquay I think are the clubs I keep an eye out for on the ticker :p
