Weekend Football Thread *spoilers*

Well, I dont do to bad considering I dont run to the internet for my facts straight away ;)

Its 6 away wins and 6 draws since the premier league began.
Dont forget that for some of that time, West Ham have not been in the league.

I cant work out what you mean (whether its just at Upton Park or not) but I know they did the double over us a few seasons ago (and a third I believe in the next season although I cant remember whether that was OT or UP)

Yes he does but Evans also kicks out intentionally. Should've been a red card for Evans.

No because Drogba never went for the ball, was only going for Evans and as JE was about 5 foot in the air, Drogba if he had fully connected with Evans body could have pollaxed him and caused a major injury on landing

Not only that but Drogba could easily have stopped before getting to JE's foot, but like the big girls blouse he is - made a mountain out of a molehill

Alternatively, Drogba never got the chance to run into Evans because he was drop kicked beforehand. :p

Its meant as in, I post stuff as I remember it, if its wrong, I'm quite happy to be corrected, its not the end of the world.
Yes they did they did the double, but since the premiership began, United have won 6, drawn 6 and obviously lost the rest, but West Ham were not in the league for at least 2 of the premiership years, so its not as if its a place where United go and regularly get turned over.

Against an injury ridden team. That should have been a nailed on result considering evertons missing players.

Yeah, Everton have been really unlucky with injuries recently, they even had someone go off didn't they? oh argh sorry that was "the beast" for Spurs for the pen.

Manchester United injuries;

Gary Neville (groin)
Nemanja Vidic (flu)
Rio Ferdinand (calf)
Jonny Evans (calf)
John O'Shea (thigh)
Rafael da Silva (injury)
Fabio da Silva (groin)
Edwin van der Sar (knee)
Wes Brown (limped off)
Owen Hargreaves (knees)

Didnt drogba actually suffer from a broken rib after that flying kick?

Flamengo champions in Brazil, well done Adriano :)

And well done Cruzeiro for getting 4th spot so going into the Libertadores (Champ league equivalent), my GF is very happy :D

"The Chelsea striker Didier Drogba was taken off during the game against Man Utd last weekend, after being kicked in the chest by Johnny Evans, and it was originally thought that he had just suffered bruising from the challenge.

The Ivory Coast striker joined up with his country for the final round of World Cup matches this week, and after taking another scan on his ribs, it has been discovered that one of them is fractured.

He has now pulled out of the international games and will return to Chelsea for treatment on Monday."

Yes, yes he did :)

It was only the one game against wolves due to the international break though wasn't it? As above he still missed international games.
