Weekend Football Thread *spoilers*

I think another man could do a better job with the existing squad tbh. Why spend £20m+ on a player to leave him on the bench? If he's not match fit yet he was a bad signing.

According to what was said a few days ago, he was initially set to be out for 4 weeks but when he was examined by our doctors that got put back to 8 weeks. However he had a set-back which has caused it to be even longer.

All this fuss now is simply because we can name 7 subs and because of that we're putting him on the bench with nothing to lose, hoping that we can give him 20mins if we're coasting in a game. An unfit player was never going to come on today epecially towards the end of the game when it was end to end.

To be honest, normally I'd want them both to only get a point, but I don't want Chelsea to get any points even if it's just one, couldn't really give a toss if Man City get all 3, they're not title challengers or above us in the table.

any liverpool fans still hoping for a chelsea loss? or do you want city to drop points?

hey and on the bright side for United, at least it seems like Valencia is picking up a bit.

City lucky to get that goal. If the ball didn't hit Richards on the arms it wouldn't have fallen to Adebayor.

It was fortunate but you're not getting a free-kick for that. The ball's just been smashed at him and his arms are tucked into his body.

City's goal was far less fortuante than Chelsea's, that simply wasn't a corner.

He's been good for the last month, very direct, powerful and quick. I like him a lot.

Why do we need a bright side? We are doing well, if I was a Liverpool fan i'd be needing a bright side.
