Weekend Football Thread *spoilers*

Same old story. Should have been out of sight at half-time; yes we should have had a penalty but we had enough chances to not need to rely on that and then lose to an own goal and a screamer. :(
 
Simply not good enough and things are not going to get any better. My patience has run out with Benitez and if we can get someone good enough to replace him, then the new year would be a good time to start.
 
I wasnt going to post anything until the final whistle. Great weekend for Arsenal! I had a feeling we were going to win because we were playing so poorly. lol

Just have to keep the pressure on now.
 
We're in deep ****. That second half was a complete shambles and it's disheartening to know that was with a full strength side. Rafa needs to look long and hard at where he's taking us with 4-2-3-1 because it's just not working this season.
 
First half amazing performance by us... Then either rafa told our team to take a breather or relax a little and it all goes ****! =(

We didnt presure arsenal any were near as much as first half, Only good thing about that shambles was Aquilani played a bit.
 
Seems to be a good weekend so far. Wolves and Arsenal winning plus the Phoenix Coyotes. Just need WBA to lose tomorrow for an excellent finish to the weekend.

Just seen Brian Laws has left Sheff Weds so Tummy who do you think will get the job?
 
vermaeelen is one of the signings of the season imo

He settled in straight away and despite his lack of height is a great ball winner in the air
