Vermaelen's done a great job so far. Solid performance from him again today.
I don't think he was particularly bad (Vermaelen) against Drogba either, he was excellent up until the first goal which seemed to come from nowhere. Drogba seems undefendable at times but Verm was great against Chelsea besides those moments of class
Edit - I know I bang on about him but Song was great again, he's one of my favourite Arsenal players atm

But tbh Drogba is probably the best centre forward in the world at the moment.

Agreed. Benitez is a good manger, and I’d love to see him stay at the club. However he needs to start winning games, it's as simple as that. I can't see any of the players being happy at the club right now, even the long term regulars. I just can’t see how he's going to turn things round now, especially since he seems hell bend on continuing with a disruptive rotation system, and playing player who are clearly out of their depth.
The results for this season in all comps stands at 9W, 10L, 4D, and that's an abysmal record no matter which way you look at it. Something isn't right, and if the manger doesn't change things. the manager will be changed.

I think Sean Mc < youth coach will be in charge I expect for a couple of games, the chair man said he's not going to rush into anything. He did very well when our last manager was sacked and is a fans favorite.
Who do I think will get it? no clue, whoever wants it? can't imagine there would be a massive list.
I've written a letter + printing some shots of my FM game off, and sending that in to apply for the job though

Gunners looked far more comfortable than previous seasons. As a fan, not playing well and winning away is far more enjoyable than thrashing a team 4-0 at home.
Im that depressed that I cant even be arsed to be gutted, I expected that limp wristed performance, for all our 'gusto' in the 1st half, we didnt really create many clearcut chances. Bar Masch and maybe Torres,I didnt think we had any standout players, Gerrard, instead of getting on with just seemed to prempt tackles and throw his arms up in the air. Kuyt was his usual ineffective self, as was Lucas, Benayoun drifted in and out of the game. The defence was actually OK apart from Johnson, god what a waste of money that lad was, he just cant defend for ****.
No point getting rid of Rafa though, this season is finished for us, we may aswell spend the rest of it finding a suitable replacement rather than getting rid and having to get a temp replacement.

Tad ott. The system is designed to get the best out of our best players; Gerrard, Torres and Masch in particular. Unfortunately we've not been able to play those players in that system enough this season.
The biggest problem with the 4-2-3-1 is that it makes it difficult to have/keep strikers happy because when everybody is fit they're on the bench behind Torres.

Mourinho and Pardew as well as Mark Hughes. The bloke is fine when Arsenal win. Funny he only has problems with other managers when Arsenal don't win.
Well there is rumours that Hughes said some un-savoury things to Wenger, but they are rumours. I still stand by my comment, of course you have a right to shake hands or not shake hands with whoever you want.

Are you excusing what Pardew did? I'm not excusing what Wenger did in that situation, but Pardew was out of order.
And Mourinho called him a Voyer. Wenger gets a bad names at times when he doesn't deserve it IMO, although I am no doubt wearing blinkers.
