Weekend Football Thread *spoilers*

Thats two assists and a goal for "not good enough for Liverpool" Bellamy so far, really is a cracking little player, one of the best in the league this year, considering he's playing out of position he's having a ridiculously good season. Yes, mouthy little git on the pitch but thats really it, mouthy. He works incredibly hard getting back, made a shedload of tackles against Arsenal, and really everyone, works every second of a game and really earned all his goals.

My accumulator with Utd and Pool losing is looking better and better ;)


As someone said, I can't for the life of me see why Fergie benches Berbatov, judging by Berbatov recently saying he's failed to live up to his transfer fee, I think the fans have finally gotten to Berb and Fergie and thats why he's barely in the team, he's your best offensive player, maybe not as many goals as Rooney, but he links up far better than Rooney does with basically anyone and his hold up play is second to none. Superb vision and has an outstanding throughball. Utd ALWAYS look better with him playing, even if he's out of position.

Kuszczak
Da Silva... .Carrick.. De Laet... Evra
Valencia... Fletcher... Anderson... Obertan
Berbatov... Rooney

I shall admit, it is with pleasure I see the scousers completely disintegrate this season.

Several pundits had Liverpool as favourites or title contenders this season.
They came up with this tosh when no replacement had been found for Alonso...

Now, look were we are today? Shows us the pundits are guessing just as much as everyone else in here.

Obviously, should Chelsea lose to The Hammers tomorrow, please do laugh as much as you like at me :D I'll take it.

There have been other circumstances why Berbatov hasn't played recently. But I agree, he definitely should have started today as he's the only player capable of keeping the ball for more than 5 seconds.
 
Have to say that this year is great for betting, all I keep doing is betting against the Top 4 teams as soon as they have a relatively tough game and they keep losing! The odds are always brilliant too (4/1 for Fulham today), don't know why the bookies still offer such good odds, the Top 4 losing isn't an upset this year really
