I watched both games and they both have been coming as deep as each other, I agree though Tevez doesn't knock it about as well, he tends to run on with it and try something else, which recently has been unsuccessful.

Tevez on form is better than Berbatov in my opinion. When he really gets going there is few better than him.

That was last season, this is now. Do you think that performance alone showed that you will retain the Premier League this season?
 
I think they're two very different players, and at the moment Berbatov is suiting the way we play, Rooney is more effective when Berbatov is in the team.

Last season when we had Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo firing on all cylinders we were awesome, but Ronaldo hasn't hit the same form and Tevez is nowhere near it either, so to me Berbatov simply has to play at the moment.
 
I swear to god I just heard andy gray say something along the lines of

"if there was no tackling you could say arsenal may win this, but there is tackling and strength so it could go either way"

Its FAR from a given - but beating both the teams this season we where beaten by home and away last season leads me to believe we arent that far from being at our consistant best

Liverpool giving away points at Anfield, Chelsea not playing well at home are also assisting in Man Utd still being reasonably close to the top

I may well be wrong but I dont believe Liverpool will end up having the "legs" for the league (with few top sub players), Chelsea are really the unknowns in thier...mysterious home form

Berbatov spent most of his time today on the halfway line losing the ball and when he did get it under control he passed it straight to a city player.

Which Berbatov were you watching?

The time would be better spent playing Rooney and tevez together and getting the partnership going rather than trying to shoehorn Berbatov into the side when he offers so little.

You don't understand the rules of the game then. There is NO requirement to automatically book a player for handball. Ronaldo and Utd gained NO advantage from his actions. It was simply revenge for Ronaldo sarcastically clapping Webb for the first yellow - which shouldn't have been a booking either because he got the ball.

Ruud Gullit was talking sense on Sky and Jamie Redknapp is the one who should shut up as he is clearly an idiot with the comments he made.
 
I thought you got booked for intentional handball? Its not like he was protecting his face from a challenge or anything - its one of those that even if its not an automatic booking the vast majority of the times youll get booked...

Perhaps his potential excuse changes might not have impressed Webb either?

What he did was just so curious - I think thats whats got us talking about it...
