Weekly Playstation Store Update thread

I downloaded the SC demo from the US, along with the Quantam of Solace trailer, the two SSDHD videos, another trailer...

Anyway, I started the downloads off, streamed the latest episode of Eureka, which is around 45 mins, and when it finished, the downloads were all complete.

Standard DSL line, only connected at 6.5mbps at the moment for some reason.

SC and tekken are miles apart, though both great imo.

anyone buy the last guy? i played the demo and though it was cool but im still not sure whether to buy :o


edit- did anyone get the farcry 2 trailer? was it just me or was the quality really bad and one big pixelated mess?!

Yep i got the last guy full game this morning, played it for an hour or so and loved it. Its not as simple as you think there is sometimes quite a bit of planning needed, and knowing if to gather, dash, hold or just run off to pick them up later. I would try the demo first though, the game is quite challenging at the higher levels and you have to use all the tricks just to have a chance of finishing a level. IGN gave it a 9/10 which is one of the highest scores they have giving a PSN game. Its probably worth the £5 and seems like it will take a while to finish, with all the VIP pick ups and high scores.
 
Pure Demo is coming to PSN this thursday.

Its also coming to XBL on the same day, to make things even more interesting qore subscribers or people who want to buy it can get a demo of Motostorm Pacfic Rift. It will be on qore a month before it hits PSN, so its just an early demo rather than an exclusive one.
 
If anyone has a Qore annual subscription on a PSN account they haven;t allocated to 5 machines yet. Share it with me pls :) A lot of good stuff on Qore recently.

Ill give you my new US account details, ive set up a new one as my old one was over used lol. Ill download it first and see what happens when you try, you need to be on my US account to download anything on qore.

Yeah but you bought Qore on a USA account already that 5 PS3's have activated. How would adding a new account help?

Because its a new account? ie new ID new downloads etc etc, i dont use my old one any more just my nice shiny new one with nice new entropay account.

Yeah but you would have to buy the content again with your new account ?

Edit: Just thought, are you buying epsiodes separately?(I assumed you had annual sub, being the huge ps3 fanboy etc)

I wonder if Europe will be forced to wait for the Motorstorm demo as well then. They've always said each store has its own release schedules so no reason we should have to wait for it since we don't have Qore...
 
does Last Guy have trophey support and if not will it at a later date?, i liked the demo but getting abit narked with all this "does it have trophey support or not" with games on the PS3 and to finish or get through half a game to find an update comes out with it later is becomming old.
 
Warhawk triple booster pack is due on EU store today. €11.99 (dunno how many £s it will be).

Handy for someone who does not have any of the 3 packs (I am assuming this is some sort of discount like the USA store had last week?).

Nope, we always get screwed over. It'll probably end up being £9.99 to round things up. Oh well, That's a direct conversion rate wth up to the minute rates but it doesn't mean that's what it will cost on the PSN tonight, should it be made available.
