Weekly Playstation Store Update thread

PLAYSTATION Store for PS3: today's content release put back by one day.

Unfortunately, a minor technical problem has caused a delay to today's PLAYSTATION Store for PS3 release of new content. Currently, we anticipate that the new Store content will be available tomorrow (Friday) morning.

Apologies for any inconveniece caused, and we'll be sure to update you with any news as soon as we get it.

Hey, everyone. It’s time again for the PLAYSTATION Store weekly update.

Just a quick note to let you know that the MotorStorm: Pacific Rift demo is now available to all Qore annual subscribers and those customers that have purchased Episode 04.

How to get the MotorStorm: Pacific Rift demo:
-Go into Qore Episode 04 under the game drop on the XMB
-Go to the Download Center
-Go to the “MotorStorm: Pacific Rift - Demo” box
-Hit the “X” button and let the downloading begin!

Super speed Download!! Its only 651 meg so not take to long. Anyway first off its 1 player or 2 player split screen on the 1 track with a choice of 3 vehicles, a motorbike, racing truck, and a monster truck. Ive played it a few times and really enjoy it so far, but i loved motorstorm, the track its self is pretty straight foreward and nothing as cool as shown in some of the vids the vehicles handle pretty much as they did, the monster truck is quite fun to drive if a bit of a hand full. The graphics are good, shadows a bit iffy somtimes but has huge draw distance and seems to run nice and smoothly no pop ins and seems like a good deal of AA. Now to the best part (for me) its the music well one track, its got Jesus built my Hotrod by ministry the best driving song ever!!! Its still a def day one purchase for me, as it was just wish the demo had another track to show off some of the new enviromental effects such as water, lava, forest etc. The bikes also have a few special moves such as duck, bunny hop and the normal attack modes.
