Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean to suggest anyone was being dumb in their purchases (it's their choice after all). I've just got this cynical side that suspects that the developers/publishers will look at how successful DLC is becoming & start putting less into full price titles - knowing that they can make more money by releasing multiple extras afterwards.
I haven't looked, but I wonder (for instance) how much someone who bought Burnout: Paradise at the £40 release price would have paid in total with all the DLC that's come out already?
I know I'll get people thinking "It's your choice to buy it", or "Developers have the right, etc, etc, etc....." - but I'm just worried that we'll get the old PC thing, where games are released 'half-cocked' because they can be added to at a later stage. The only difference this time though, is that you have to pay for it.
