weight issues, diet pills and a general get-it-off-your-chest-moment

Quick update to say I'm now at 226 pounds, or 16st 2lbs or 102kg

thats a total loss...for those who havent read the whole thread...of 9st 12lbs, 138 pounds or 63kg

My BMI is now under 30 and I am no long OBESE!!! just OVERWEIGHT...

update...

officially weighed in last night at 15st 10lbs. thats 220lbs or 99.7kg if youd rather.

that makes total weightloss of 10st 4lbs, 144lbs or 65.4kg.

I'm not stopping here tho...still got moobs and a gut to flatten out. next target is 14st!

wow thats awesome, i found running has done amazing things for my tone, have lost 6st now plus its mega for weight loss. Also going back to being vegetarian has helped massively
 
Hey all...long time no speaky

Sorry to resurrect a really old thread but firstly an update.

I am now a reasonable 13st 10lbs...that's 87kg for you young'uns! Total weight loss 172 lbs which is about 12st 3 lbs or 78kg.

Secondly...I wasn't really sure whether to start a new thread off or stick to this one...so I thought I'd at least start here, though tbh if its a bit bogged down due to already being 9 pages long then I might create a fresh one.

Basically I have spent the last 5 months or so just hovering around this weight and I'm not happy...well obviously I'm happy that its a lot less than it was but tbh I look a bit silly now. I've ended up really narrow at the shoulders and chest. I have no arm muscles that you can see...I've still got a gut (which is all just leftover flabby stuff) and my legs are quite scawny too...I mean it could just be that I'm the right size but I'm so used to being large that I now feel overly small!

Sooooo....back to the gym I go. This time tho its to get some *BOOM* going on instead of just mainly cardio.

So onto my current measurements (wasn't really sure what to take!) and I'll repost them each month to see the changes.

Upper Arm/Bicep - 32cm/12.5"

Chest - 100cm/39"

Waist - 90cm/35"

Hips - 102cm/40"

Thigh - 59cm/23"
 
Great work, Swampyseifer. The sense of achievement must be immense! I hope you're able to keep the weight off; so many people seem to fall back into their old habits and regain the weight. Keep up the good work :)
