Weight loss diary

My weight actually increased to 245 this week but I've been under my calories on most days (currently 2000) - I have drunk a lot more and increased my creatine intake to 10g a day so perhaps it's water retention.

I'm not going to adjust anything for a week and see how I go.

244 this week, at least this is back in the right direction!

I've started incorporating some bodyweight exercises into my gym days; dead hangs, sit-ups and push-ups in addition to assisted pull-ups, machine crunches and bench press.

For legs I'm just doing a few sets of Romanian deadlifts, split squats, step-ups and calf raises as I struggle to recover enough for my running if I do any more.

No change this week, I am however noticing that my collar bones are becoming a lot more prominent again and I've got noticeable triceps & delta without flexing - so I'd class that as a win!

242, I'll happily take a pound a week at this point as losing weight is proving to be much more difficult. I've no idea what my body fat % is but I'd wager it's a fair bit lower than it was last year when I was around this weight.

240 this week, I'm effectively eating one meal a day most days as I've been trying to save money for buying our first home! We got a section 21 last week and decided to bite the bullet and get some stability even if the place we're looking at is a little smaller than we'd like.

The stress of moving has certainly affected my appetite, and I've struggled to lift as heavy as normal - but I've still managed to go to all of my planned workouts and hit my targets on at least the first couple of sets for each exercise.

Sorry to hear that, receiving the section 21 notice in particular must be unnecessary stress. Hope you're able to save up for that first home :)

The fact that you've still managed to go to your sessions and do your best is commendable.

Thanks! We've got the agreement in principle, the deposit and legal fees - just saving for the move itself and any extras we come across.

Well the sale fell through so we've looking at rentals this week, that and starting my first week back uni has meant that I've missed a session at the gym but at least I managed to get there for the other 3.

I'm back in the 230s at 239 so at least that is still heading in the right direction!
