Weird sounds at night

Where in West London are you?

There was a big fire in Staines this morning. I live 150 metres or so from it - quite impressive to watch if a bit scary. Time kind of correlates too for the big explosions - 2-3am or so.

Ealing, we live on high ground which although it a very quiet area, you can hear noise from a long distance away (we can hear the cars on the A40 even though it is a long distance away). Definitely a possibility as by line of sight its not far away. Were there explosions? The three had about 10 seconds between them

I am finding this very interesting and I don't do the whole aliens or conspiracy stuff, but something is going on me thinks...

Im guessing its a military aircraft. Thats the only thing that could

a.) create those sounds

and

b.) create those sounds on the same night over such a wide area

It could well be hypersonic aircraft. If you think that the SR-71 Blackbird was built in the late 60s and at the time, had technology that was in the realms of sci-fi books - it's not impossible to think 50 years later that aircraft is being developed which is equally as impressive.

Non-US wise, the UK are currently testing a supersonic drone, the Taranis and China are also said to have been developing a supersonic drone since at least 2006.

might just be an organised sheep pumping gang, using the internet to synchroise their massive sheep humping endeavor,

yeh thats gotta be it or just aliens.jpg :p

A mystery explosion over Russia and some secret hypersonic bomber over New York/UK.

It all sounds like posturing to me, the West is currently waging economic warfare against Russia and both sides will want to project military strength to scare the other into thinking it has some secret super weapon without panicking the sheep.

Yeah, I'm actually quite worried about the whole situation with Russia. The "West" is crippling them economically and it's going to push Russia into doing something drastic before long :(

Anyhow, I too heard the strange sounds. However, I heard them about 25 years ago. It happened twice, over the course of a week if I remember correctly. Sounded just like big fireworks in the distance. Everybody said I must have been dreaming, but I know what I heard.

Wouldn't jump to that just yet but definitely something odd going on.

29/11/14 A1 shut after mystery explosion, old detonators found but still classed 'unexplained'.

30/11/14 Mystery explosions heard all over UK. I heard them this morning and something very similar to the recording on Saturday night outside having a break at work.

All very weird and interesting.

yeah...lots of explosions in the night around the time all the fireworks get sold cheaply in the dodgy shops after bonfire night has passed and they no longer care about checking ID/proof of age as they just want rid of them.

It certainly is a conundrum.

why would this super aircraft use the rather poorly performing pulse jet?

the hypersonic testing thats going on isn't currently going to well, and also needs b52 and a giant rocket to launch it to high enough speeds to start the engine and once the engines started aerodynamics at that speed are amazingly complicated and the things spiral out of control and tear apart.

we'll get there eventually but now space plane is a more feasible ultra high speed approach. and even thats far far off.

Interesting, my wife was woken up a noise twice over the last few days. I slept through them, it takes a lot to wake me up
