Well that's done it...

Maybe I sound a bit harsh, just trying to help you out.

Looks good though, bargain price and its a very torquey strong engine.

Nah, it's ok Si. I appreciate your input. But I'm afraid at the moment, this is as far as I can afford to go.

Don't worry though, I will join the turbo lot eventually ;) I don't think I've done too bad for myself though. I am only 20 after all.

Muban, lol. £1300 a year to me is cheap!

I'll bring my tools to the meet, just in case. :)

Only joking matey, looks a nice one that. Can't go wrong for the performance for £400 anyways. :)

Its a fair step up from the 214 either way Andy...plenty of fun to be had. Hopefully it should give you some hassle free motoring (compared to the old one anyway).

can't grumble for the price, another rover eh andy dont you get bored of the same interior over and over, i like the red colour better than that.

Yeah, I prefer Nightfire Red to this one, I think it's Gun Metal Grey. But still, it'll look awesome after a bit of work.

Personally, I think the Rover interior is one of the best in its class. Nicely laid out dash with large classic dials and very comfy seats.

My next car will no doubt be a Rover as well.

To be fair to the old car, I did use to abuse it so it's no wonder parts broke. Saying that, if I'd had changed the CTS and alternator belt when I first started having problems then the only other time I would have had problems would be the gearbox breaking.

I don't care what people say about Rovers being unreliable. Mine didn't ever fail to get me anywhere due to a problem with the actual engine. The only parts that did cause me grief were the alternator tensioner/belt (was an old belt which kept stretching) and the CTS.

It got me to Leeds and back today, and I wasn't going easy. Didn't skip a beat.

Phil, there are too many GSi's with SuperLegs on. Think I might have to go SuperT's though ;)

Theres one thing i am jelous about...your 1.6 rover is 136bhp.

My v reg mondeo 1.8 is only 115bhp (and as if its pushing that much out! more like 105 mabey less?!)

Damm lucky rover people!

Mines bigger, but yours still is better :(
