Good work Andy hope the car runs well for you, can't belive your only going to have it a week then tan the pants off it up the moors :)

Ah well some things just have to be done :D

You still getting the DV cam?

Tom, lmao mate, that's superb :D If you get a bubble shape 200, I suppose you could use it on that.

Andy, I'll definitely have that splitter off you mate. And yep, no doubt I'll be at combe giving it some beans.

It's going to be weird getting used to a totally different engine though. I was pretty well clued up about the locations of things on the K and jobs were pretty easy.

I almost stood back in shock when I opened the bonnet on the GSi. The engine is huge!

Mark, I doubt I'll be caining the pants off it, especially with the added weight at the front. I'll have to get familiar with its handling first I think. But then... I won't have to cain it in order to make progress :D

The DV cam isn't looking too good at the moment :( It all depends how soon I sell my SEi really.

Hehe i wonder how many people would pick up on the r200 hgf plate if they aren't called fox? :p

Tom.

I would :D Be interesting to see how many people comment on it.

I guess I can't get K214 AGW for the GSi as it's no longer a K. :( And I can't get T220 either.

Lashout, found these shots which the previous owner took of the interior.

The back seats are fully usable AFAIK. I could fit 3 people in the back of my 5 door without a problem, and from what it looks like, with the front seats in normal position the leg room appears to be exactly the same.

Now, the 220 Coupe (the proper Coupe) is a totally different story.

Just over 86,000 Mark. My 214 has done 87 and the T-series goes on for ages. My dad has an 820 on 270,000 miles.

The body needs minor attention. Like I said, the drivers front wing has a hole in, but the seller has another wing to go on.

Then it just has a few small bits of rust on the arch and a bit on the rear sill.

Paint work looks in great condition though with no evidence of swirl marks.

What, the 820?

Nope, it's the Rover T16. Very good engine despite all the jokes. Has none of the K series weaknesses.

The only 2 litre Rover to have a Honda engine was the 620.
