What, the 820?

Nope, it's the Rover T16. Very good engine despite all the jokes. Has none of the K series weaknesses.

The only 2 litre Rover to have a Honda engine was the 620.

Sorry, meant the 220 GSI, thats a Rover block ? Not much in it then between the Honda , considering the 1600 vs 2000 displacement

Can't wait until then... too far off :p

Going to drive the 214 to my dads after work on Friday and get him to give me a lift to pick the car up. It's only 5 minutes away from his :)

Have fun with it :)

When I picked up my coupe it didn't feel faster than the 214, but every time I looked down I was doing ridiculous speeds

So easy to drive fast, and fun as well.

I guess I can't get K214 AGW for the GSi as it's no longer a K. :( And I can't get T220 either.
as long as the plate doesn't make the car appear newer than it actually is then you can fit whatever you like to it.

ie.
K 123 ABC on a car first registered after '93 ish is fine.
M 123 ABC on a car first registered before '95 or so is not.

exactly his point, it's NOT a T reg or newer car so he can't get T220 (T series engine), but it's not a K series engine like his old car so one starting with K will be pointless :p
