well, this is it then :(

47 is no age at all, i am 41 :(

Jeez dude,
What can i say apart from i am really sorry to hear that and i wish your mum and all that love her all my very best.

:(

So sorry to hear it, my mother is the most important person in my whole life, I dont know what I would do if she passed away, it would be so hard for me to carry on.

There's little further to say, other than that hearing a story like this allows one to put all the insignificant niggles in his or her life into perspective. You feel guilty whinging about the media or bad drivers or tax rises when there are people out there who are suffering experiences such as this.

Best wishes James. You only get one mum - make the most of the time you have together.

Be brave for your Mum and show her how much you love her in the remaining time she has left.

You'll always love her and miss her, and therefore she'll never truly be gone, as she'll always be a part of you.

Best wishes.

This made me well up :(

I'm so sorry.

My mother had cancer when I was 14 but she pulled through. I tried to pretend it wasn't happening at the time, but I'm so, so, so glad I still have her. Cancer is an evil, terrible thing.

My thoughts are with you, stay strong.
