I know the buyer of mine lives in Altrincham (Greater Manchester) if that helps?

That is why I'm assuming it isn't the same one as this was in Yeovil South Somerset but it was weird seeing what looked like the exact same car (I don't think I'd even seen one let alone in that colour before this thread). Unfortunately not going that way until Friday again.

Just seen this, and done. Also, you know we have a PM system now ;)

I can't be trusted with such things. I have a camera and a penis and we all know how that ends.

Feel free to chop out the naughty bits tooif you like, I haven't had time tonight. If not I'll do it tomorrow :)

Cheers!

It’s reappeared on eBay with photoshop images (KGF got their images pulled I assume) now described as perfect in the title but then “only a few flaws” in the description, it’s still listed as one owner (!) - the V5 will show 4 now.

17 years old (it’s 19), mentions the broken spring but not the blown self levelling shock absorber (the expensive bit) nor bottom arm....

At least he’s now noting it’s got no MOT.

I’m finding it quite amusing watching this tbh, and I’m very glad it’s his problem now, not mine....

Given that the number plate is visible it isn't difficult to get a full list of the major defects from the last MOT test.
Yes I know, I’m puzzled as to why he isn’t more up front about what work it needs - wants to maximise his return I guess - I just can’t see him getting anywhere near that figure given there’s plenty on Autotrader for example with full MOT and no faults - albeit with more miles - for less, which is why I priced it the way I did when I sold it (and thought I actually did well to get what I did for it).

Nah, he's worded it cleverly (I'm being kind...), he's saying that the one of the owners had it for 17 years in the main description and the default 'info' description states the actual number of owners. He's not actually saying it's a 1 owner car and 17 years old, but I'm sure many will read it that way.

Previous owners (excl. current): 2
1 owner 17 years.

Yeah, I see what you mean, you’d think somebody after something like that would be particular about it especially given the asking price and it’s issues, then again, nothing stranger than folk and I guess that’s what he’s banking on.

I asked him if the MOT failures were addressed. He hasn't bothered replying.
Doubtful - He rocked up to buy it i an f01 730d that had no MOT (I checked it for some reason!)
I’m assuming he doesn’t believe in them! :D
