Yeah I realised after I replied, massive double fail.
We should just go to bed.
Oh wait... no, no!!!!!

I don't think he's "too" over rated, he's done very well at clubs and did well at Inter (didn't they have him back for a second spell? might be imaging that), I just don't think he was the right man at the time for Liverpool, He's already doing quite well with West Brom.
He's just suited to smaller teams with less pressure I'd imagine, he wasn't suited at Liverpool.

I kind of agree, in short he's a good manager, did very well with Fulham for example, but just isn't suited to the pressure cooker of the biggest clubs.

I think he's suited to keeping teams up type pressure rather than push for title type, if that makes sense.
Perhaps you could say he's a small club manager, although maybe that's not accurate as he was liked at Inter.
Thing is he was making signings that would suit a small club, yet he was making them for one of the biggest clubs in the world... Poulson, Konchesky, the guy was clueless with his signings imo. Not only that but he never seemed to have the players on his side, no idea why.
it was kind of cute watching a new romance blossom between Killswitch and Accendo last night, though I do think Accendo should have held out longer than the first date.
****.
Why does Nasri refuse to shake his hand btw?
Because Gallas is a french knob thats why...mind u Nasri is probably one as well...pretty petulant as he almost had a bust up with Thierry Henry as well.
But i agree with Lee Dixons interview that was posted a few pages back....Wenger needs to change his transfer policy this summer, clearly his policy as of now isnt winning us things...our defence isnt that bad as we have only conceded 34 goals compared to 32 that Utd have conceded but its the timings of the goals ie late goals to kill off our hopes of winning a game.
From where i sit, it seems like we get in the lead then our defence goes to sleep ie lets the other team get back in the game...i dont know why this is happening, it happened last yr too during our run in toward the end of the season when we dropped points and lost games that we should have really won tbqh.
Uninformed drivel
DM if that's true that's unbelievably pathetic from Nasri.
Nasri supposedly pee'd off half the french team, there was unofficial seating on the bus or something and he plonked himself down in Henry's seat and Gallas was the one who told him to move, at which point Nasri got mouthy .
I dunno, it all sounds ridiculous but Nasri is being a complete **** about it now. Boo hoo, senior players on the team, in one of your first few call ups told you to move, its hardly life and death stuff, not shaking hands years later is pathetic. Gallas doesn't care about it anymore, no one else but Nasri and how did it work in the derbies, refused to shake his hand, made it into a huge story, and Gallas played at his best while Nasri didn't, Gallas offered a hand, then went on to win the game with a worse team while Nasri was playing stupid games and lost. Friendship and success in football have nothing at all to do with each other. Bridge vs Terry, theres a real reason to be angry, Nasri "you're sitting in my seat" is beyond childish, and frankly you see that petulant childish side of Nasri all the time as he has a habit of kicking out at people and picking up stupid yellow cards.
I'd take Gallas's winning mentality and workrate over Nasri's half a good season and rubbish for the past 4 months.
Defensively we need to play more as a unit, make less stupid mistakes, the defence would have been under a heck of a lot less pressure without Denilson penalties and the trio of morons consistantly giving away daft freekicks around the box throughout games.
But its our lack of goals, and killer instict thats made us draw 5 of the last 6 games, get 3 more wins out of those and we'd be in the lead and favourites for the title.
2 of those draws were no score draws, Blackburn and Sunderland, two of the worst teams with the worst form at the moment, both at home, both times playing 4-5-1 and not our strongest team.
Against Liverpool we dominated posession, got a late penalty, failed to get goals in normal time as we should have.
Those three games alone could have made our season, and it wasn't our defence that cost us. Yeah yeah, stupid Eboue against Liverpool, though if Song didn't give away the utterly insane freekick it would never have happened.
For me its both the stupid formation with no natural wingers in the squad at all, and guys like Diaby/Song who slow our attack so much, the need to get goals on the counter attack, especially against teams that come and park 11 people in their own box is crucial but a pass to Song and he'll stand still for half an hour then run 15 yards to make a 2 yard pass to someone, when he could have made the pass straight away without slowing the game down.
We need better players, that doesn't mean spending millions. Sell the rubbish guys, bring in guys with potential for less cash, at least we'll be moving forwards rather than going backwards or standing still.
Also seriously, Theo as a winger, everything he does, every goal he gets(almost), every assist comes at a time when he's moved right up to play off the shoulder of a centre back, he's a striker, utter waste on the wing, he's actually rubbish on the wing and never, ever helps defensively.
