All the cars mentioned are different under the skin, but that doesn't change the fact that if we're talking about looks, then they are all very much along the same lines.
penski said:Hahahaha...You do know about the Skyline's racing history, right?
It won at Bathurst so they changed the rules and made it run heavier.
It won the next year so they changed the rules and made it run heavier.
It won the next year so they changed the rules and banned it.
So your reason for the GTI-R being exempt from the 'old Japanese car' slating is it's motorsport 'pedigree' but the R32, with a more distinguished race history than the Sunny/Pulsar is slated...Riiiiiiight...

They raced against Commodores and Falcons. Of cause a Jap car is going to win, they are better built and i think commodores and falcon had the same style suspension as American cars do
Alibaba99 said:It was also racing against M3s and the Sierra Cosworth. The Cossies were pushing close to 600bhp at the end of their time of racing in Oz (as they continued racing for longer than Europe the engines were even further developed). The Skylines still won despite being forced to carry a shedload of ballast and having their power restricted.
