We've got Covid and a volcano, we've had Meghan but there's more. The clocks go forward this weekend

I think as much as I dislike dark nights and the winter generally I quite enjoy the clock change as it signifies that summer is coming and makes me appreciate it more. Light evenings, time in the garden, BBQs out etc. Can't beat it.

I'm with you dude. Hate the lighter evenings. I think we both agreed on another thread that we have the inverted version of SAD which kicks in around about now. For 'normal' SAD, it would kick in around late September.

Had a chat with my GP, they said it was too early to say what it was, but they will get me started with some therapy. They said they would start me on the road for being diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder, but we'll know more about what it is after therapy starts.

Early morning sun... late evening sun. *like*

There’s nothing worse than going to work in the dark and getting home in the dark. This way you can get in an early morning walk/run/swim or have a lovely evening stroll without gunning it home at 3:59pm to squeeze in the hint of some exercise.

My record last year was a starting a half marathon at sunrise (5am) and getting back before 7am, then bed for 2hrs hours and some beers in the evening sun.

GMT should be abolished and we should switch to BST full time

If you mean feral kids roaming the streets and late night drunks fighting in the street, can't wait. Bah.

In years gone past I used to get quite annoyed at the clocks changing - seemed totally pointless. Not too bothered this time around maybe it's the working from home means no major impact getting up earlier to commute

As much as I expect to suffer a bit in the coming week with the clocks going forward, I can't wait to have the opportunity of a 2-3 hour cycle in daylight after work in the coming months...

This winter really feels like it has dragged on.

Is there an option for dark mornings and nights? :D

Mainly due to kids waking up early and not wanting to go to bed because 'it's still day time Daddy'
