what age

When woman are involved you will never be financialy stable. Do it now!

Also, a girl I knew at school, her father was in his 60's. She got some abuse because of it. He was in no physical state to shout or chase kids away that would torment them. They were also relativly poor in a rich area which didn't help either.

I'm 29 with a 2.5yr old, and with the amount of energy she has its crazy for me to think why on earth would anyone start having kids older than me!

At the end of the day though its one of those few decisions in life that only you can make!

The fittest people I know are in their 50s and early 60s, they run marathon, sprint up mountains, do 100 miles races, climb several grades above me on 15 pitch routes. The only concern is with the age of the mother at conception due to risks , that aside the older the better IMO. Better stability, maturity, life knowledge, financial security.

I really don't want children at the moment because I don't want to be tied down. I want to go backpacking around the world, go for week long hiking trips into the wilderness. Enjoy life to its fullest while I am young and energetic. I am soon to be 29, gf is 30

In all honesty, the best time to have children is when you are retired- hopefully no mortgage, plenty of time to raise your children, a life full of knowledge.

My mother was 36 and my father 42 when I was born. I have half brothers and sisters twice my age and i am a uncle to 4 girls similar ages to me. It never bothered me in the slightest. In fact I would say it was better as my father took early retirement from the army which meant he could spend a lot more time with me. My mother is retired now too which is brilliant as it helps us out a tonne as we have a 4 year old and we both have full time jobs.
