How do they check them if they are new and sealed?
It is very easy to get into, the plastic just opens up.
Funnily enough I took it into Jessops this morning because I needed one quick and the staff couldn't tell if it was fake.
How do they check them if they are new and sealed?
I suspect ebay must be taking these fake memory cards seriously judging by this page:
http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/Is-your-Sony-Memory-Stick-Duo-Pro-fake_W0QQugidZ10000000005146755
According to that my package/card meets 3 out of the 5 original specs.
I can't check the PSP one.
The only thing is doesn't meet is the package has rounded corners.
Where exactly do I go on Ebay to make a complaint?
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL NOT CLASS THIS AS BRAND NEW BECAUSE THE PACKAGING HAS BEEN OPENED
Blimey, I didn't think anyone who knew about technology actually bought memory cards from eBay anymore - most are fake (as you're no doubt finding out).
Are you 100% sure its not working? some devices can be quite picky with sticks over 4gig or not even work at all depending on the device and firmware revision.
Unless this is you, it seems someone else has disputed whether it's fake or not:

Good luck!
