What are the currant differences between Nvidia and AMD graphics cards

You can't get them any more, no danger at all and the warranty isn't void as you can flash back and re-lock the original bios if you didn't inform the etailer, but oCuk stated they would honour the warranty anyway as they sold a few batches to flash yourself or purchased one of their unlocked 290's when they were available.

Seems like each time I get a red card, with the money saved from Nvidia's (usually slower)equivalent, I get a free SSD, got 4 now LOL.

What do you think the chances are of a 290X BIOS unlocking mine?

Apparently the VTX ones unlock, VTX, Powercolor and Club 3D all have the same parent company (TUL Corporation)

Thats why i though there might be a chance, with Dual BIOS it can't hurt to try, i guess :)
 
Even if it doesn't unlock, in theory you could get better oc's, or higher stock clocks all on auto profiles, good luck anyway.:)
