What are the most popular threads ever on this forum?

The thread that sticks out in my mind was a forum member had their phone stolen but left it on with tracking enabled, he was then able to guide the police to where the phone was been stored and if I recall they arrested someone at the scene. Whilst the thread didn't have 10's of thousands of view it did go viral and there was a lot of interest from outside the forum with people constantly checking for updates which resulted in the forums slowing down.

Ladies Only.

Stalking supermarket thread. Was this Tefal? Is he still about?

Do you rent. Typical Motors at the time, it was an awful cesspit of a place but weirdly wonderful.

Motors when that guy pretended to be rich and everyone beleived him, he even got his own thread for his drunken rambles and iirc conned a member from a Massarti sale.

OcUKs peak was very good.

One of the best was the controller thread, where it gained traction and actually ended up charity funded somewhere. I can't remember the full deets but it was ace.

Demn0ns. His Xbox Kinect motion sensor was picking up dancing baby ghosts :D

Didn't that same gut buy a ghost hunting device for over £200 off Amazon?

Mentioned further up, he used Cerberus, it ended up in the National papers and sales of it went up including me.

Just remembered one of the worst ones on here.
This poster from Ireland came on saying he was driving down a road when he saw a fence smashed and noticed a car had gone into the water.
He jumped out, rescued the occupants (I think woman & child) and he was a hero.
(Some of the details above may alter slightly).

We then had another Irish poster who lived in that exact area who had not heard of this incident even though it would be massive news where they lived.
It ended up it was all made up.

Truly shocking.

The "It's too hot/cold" thread is always lively as you'd expect.

Currently the "It's too cold" moaners are in full retreat, after a strong counter-offensive by the "Its too hot" moaners following a 2-3 day warm spell.

I decided to read through that thread (God knows why I did that) and it partially feels like going back in time. The way people spoke just seems different. There’s also some stuff that just doesn’t change though :D

Found this (quite horrific incident) thread coincidentally linked by sexygreyfox while scrolling through. I wonder how she is doing, she should be around 27 now.
