It's definitely not. Expecting things to be 90% off isn't going to happen though.
I've had a few things that I always wait for BF.
pack of 4 disc brake pads, 25% off plus a 5th set free. Seems a great deal to me, throughout the year the best other deal has just been 20% off.

There was another PC components shop that I shan't name here, that was doing an old school Black Friday price drop auction style, run as 2x daily price drops on certain items, first come first served.
A 32Gb (2x16Gb) RGB Kingston Fury BEAST RAM set went for £16. I missed out by seconds. Gutted wasn't the word.

I was in a similar position and couldn’t get on with those layouts. I settled on an Akko 5108B from our friends in the people’s republic of china and it’s fantastic. Really impressed.Still haven't found a keyboard. Too many TKL/65% sizes

Just grabbed a Push 3 with a 25% discount, absolutely stoked with that as they are never on sale due to only being available directly from manufacturer.

Got a ninja air fryer af400uk, need to get rid of the deep fat fryer.
Ordered a Brother Mono Print/Copy/Scan WiFi/Ethernet printer with 15% off on Black Friday. I was looking for a printer and the Black Friday reduction was just a bonus.
Was looking at colour ones but the toner is far to expensive, don’t print photos so don’t need an ink jet and they can be expensive. Bought my old Samsung mono laser back in 2009 for £60 and still on the supplied toner.
New one comes with 1200 page toner so should last me years. Old one was just a basic laser, no WiFi or Ethernet and no scanning.
