We got a really good deal on one of those Dyson cordless hoovers about 5 years ago and it was genuinely one of the best purchases we have ever made. Who knew you could have a hoover preference?

Dualsense controller for 39 quid at a number of retailers (if you prefer not to shop at the big one - dont think OC stock them) is a pretty good price. Fantastic controller

I'm going to buy something from Amazon.. the suspense!

To be honest I'd much rather be doing that . I had to go sort some car tyres out and it's been lashing down all day with rain . Don't fancy physical shopping in this weather

Did any of you guys buy one ?
yea I got a AW3225QF before the sales for like 840 I think.

No regrets

It has a fan but I never heard it turn on yet, I only know it works from activating it in the test menu
Colours don't feel like a huge upgrade but I never looked side by side
Blacks and infinite contrast ratio is amazing though, also the quality of the picture on UFOtest website is crazy good

It has a Gloss screen which I like very much, the gloss protection has marks on it that look almost like scratches when the suns shining on the screen.
I think they were created when I pulled off the screen protection the adhesive or whatever holding it was crazy strong.

in normal lighting conditions it's impossible to see the marks and you should never have an oled in the sunlight anyway cos the blacks look purple.

even shining a bright light on the screen from various angles I couldn't replicate the sun and make them visible, I'm not sure if they are actually physical marks because I tried cleaning what looks like a long horizontal scratch and it kinda looked a bit more faded after I wiped it a few times.
so I don't know if it's just residue or not but I don't care either. impossible to see under normal lighting conditions, even with a 1200lumen bulb directly above my chair,

4k HDR movies look great in HDR, any highlights on the screen are really bright, like if a belt buckle or whatever was to catch the sun

Thanks

I had a look at that one earlier and didn't know you could get curved 32" monitors.
I thought it was mainly only UW monitors which were curved

I came from a curved ultrawide so it doesn't bother me.

it did still take a few days to get used to, but I don't notice the curve anymore.
It's not much of a curve, it's only really noticeable from the corners of the screen

all the 3rd gen 4k 240hz monitors right now are using the screen Samsung panel.
it's just whether you want curved or flat, gloss or matt coating, and what monitor you find most aesthetically pleasing pretty much.

and the price of course, I think they are all really close in price during this sale.
When I bought one the dell was about 200-300 cheaper than the others, but I like the look of the dell one the most anyway.
