What are YOUR OCD-Style habits!

If I'm walking down a road and the middle part of my left foot happens to step on a crack then I have to do the same with right, as an example. For some reason I hate odd numbers and odd things, so volume has to be set on an even number and if I do one thing with one hand/foot I have to do the same with the other hand/foot. No idea if it's OCD or not but without getting checked I'd have to say it is. Wierdly enough I found out my sisters friend who I talk to a lot is the same and she didn't believe me when I told as sh thought I was taking the mick :o

- volume on stereo, tv, anything like that has to be on an odd number (car stereo only has even numbers and it makes me feel ill just thinking about it)
- odd numbers generally, I'll try and use things so I have an odd number left and buy them in odd numbers
- towels have to be lined up perfectly
- tins, jars, things in cupboards all have to be lined up with the labels facing the right way
- serious neat freak
- can't have things lying on my computer desktop and everything has to be filed away in folders on it

Think Sleeping With The Enemy crossed with David Beckham crossed with Monica from Friends and you've got me :(

Theres another by Seek that I used to do!

When I was younger EVERYTHING had to be even, so I would have to say a word 2 or 4 times

I would have to walk through a door 2 or 4 times

Which in particular lol, I would say I have OCD for sure, although I do claim some of them are just paranoia and some normal!

You're sick dude. Volume numbers should ever be even only.

Edit: actually multiples of five are all right.

Everyone has some sort of OCD in them

Other people just have it worse than others

We all know what we like/dont so we do it to please ourselves :)

Yes, but its not accutly classed as "OCD".

I went through a phase a year ago where whenever I walked past a mirror or a car window, I would look at it and see if my hair wasnt out of place! How gay was I? :p :o

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
