What are your thoughts?

It's another true Azagoth story don't you know. A player needs to get his tackle checked out regularly. Woof!

Yes, it is. As strange as it may seem to someone as intellectually retarded as you, I do actually have sex, and with real live girls too.

I know, it's shocking isn't it? Muppet!

Ofcourse he's posting using his own limited personal experience on the matter.

I am too.

Stating that one night stands spread disease is false.

Stating that one night stands spread disease if you're a retard who doesnt wear a condom, Is factual
Casual sex with multiple partners does spread sexually transmitted diseases and, as I'm sure you already know, condoms are only 99% effective.

Few friends and I were discussing something I thought I'd get your opinion on...

If you meet a guy/girl in a club and there's good conversation, you get on well and think you could get a few dates out of it....is it bad to decline an invite back to their place? Is that a deal breaker?

Similarly, if you go back to their place and one thing leads to another, is that giving the complete wrong idea or do you think things can still progress from that into dating and a relationship?

Hello stranger!

If I pulled you on a night out (you wish ;)) and you declined to come back to mine, it wouldn't be the be all and end all.

And on the other hand if you accepted and we made rumpy-pumpy, I wouldn't make me think you were a **** or stop me pursuing a more long-term relationship.

Hope this helps :D

Did he really say ONLY 99%?!
If you knew a sexual partner was hiv positive would you be happy with 99% effective protection?

Can you comprehend that 99% means that 1 in a 100 of all people who had casual sex last night while wearing a condom were not protected from sexually transmitted diseases?

Fact is every time you engage in casual sex of an evening, and don't wear anything, it niggles you. It niggles you because you no longer know for a fact that you don't have an STD.

....so you wait the 6 months (for HIV anyway) and go and get tested. You have to wait for 2 hours to be seen and it's just a nightmare.

So easy to dodge as well, just for the sake of wearing a condom!

At the end of the day X number of people a year (just like us) thinking they'll be fine get some seriously bad news.

I last went through this whole sorry process a few months back, stupid stupid stupid and I won't do it again. I'd rather spend 4 seconds putting on a condom than 2 hours in the clap clinic.

Unfortunately true. The only way you can be sure is to have a monogamous relationship and for both to be faithful. Of course you also both need to be tested upon commencement of this relationship.

How come everytime we have a thread like this we get a load of abusive terms for women who happen to like sex the same as men?

Unfortunately true. The only way you can be sure is to have a monogamous relationship where neither of you ever did anything like snort drugs, had a blood transfusion and you were both virgins at the time and 100% monitor each other 24/7 to prove the monogamy.

Well said!

I was invited back to a girl's place after a night out like you describe. I went back with her, pretty unsure of what was coming next, but nothing did - she didn't even know I thought she might have meant that until I mentioned it a few days later. So don't assume she wants your babies, maybe she just likes you.

We dated for a bit, then she moved away, we're still friends.

It's also possible that she was waiting for you to make a move. When you didn't and asked about it days later she simply acted as any nice girl would do in such a situation by acting innocent and denying it. :)

See I knew someone would come along with a cynical answer such as yours which is why I immediately edited my post to assert that both partners would need to be tested. Of course we can never be absolutely certain that our partners are being faithful though there's no need to be virgins if both parties are tested. Finally, can you really catch std's from snorting drugs? That's news to me. A quick internet search tells me it's feasibly possible but no link has been proven.

The advice both times I have been to testing is that it can in the case of hepatitis and sharing snorting instruments, simply because hep lives outside the body for significant time. Maybe it is unproven, I've never googled the advice a doctor gave me before but it makes sense to avoid such situations all the same.

I've got no problem with monogamy by the way, just the way people say it's the only way to avoid STD. Where people are careful, there is very little problem with STD. However, in my opinion, there is a particular problem with male dominance and refusal to care about women's sexual health and wellbeing that needs addressed as well.

Yes, great answer darling! Just gotta lol at rumpy pumpy.....and I think it is in fact you that wishes these scenarios!! :p

With regards to the STD debate that is going on.... most girls don't like condoms, but a bit of latex irritation is so much more preferable to the disgusting discharge of the most prevalent STD's that I have been unfortunate enough to have to examine on some patients! Be safe!!!

It seems absolutely feasible that sharply intaking air and drugs through a vessel that may contain traces of blood into a very delicate part of the body is risky. My understanding is that the whole point of snorting is to absorb the drug through fine blood vessels in the nose so if there's someone else's blood on there then it follows infection can take place.

I agree that taking care is good protection against std's, however using condoms while sleeping with large numbers of sexual partners of history unknown is simply not being careful. Quick research shows there to be 80,000 HIV sufferers in the UK with those infected unbeknownst to themselves only estimable. How many people here in this forum actually have been tested, particularly among the youth of today where incidence of unprotected casual sex is on the increase?

Really 99% protection is not so high. If any of us were to know that a potential sexual partner were infected we would not take that chance, even if we were drunk and horny.
