What book are you reading...

Just started Exile (The second of the Dark Elf Trilogy) by R A Salvatore. has started well, looking forward to where Drizzt goes from here.

Just finished Dolores Claiborne by Stephen King which wasn't really my cup of tea and will start Hold Tight by Harlan Coben later this weekend.

Currently reading - Bred of Heaven by Jasper Rees.

It's about an Englishman with some Welsh heritage, trying to turn himself into a true Welshman. It's very funny in places as he tries to immerse himself in all things Welsh from coal mining to singing in a male voice choir.

Just got done reading The Road. Normally I read the book first and see the film after. But I got The Road on DVD a while back when I went on a Viggo binge. Have to say, the film was a really good adaption of the book. The book is fantastic. So bleak.

Reading "Freakonomics" and "More Sweat and Another Cup of Tea "

Not usually one for reading more than one book at a time but on a night shift sometimes "More Blood, More Sweat and Another Cup of Tea " is a lighter read as theres just a lot of very short stories.

We Need to Talk about Kevin.

Battled like a Trojan getting into that book but gave up halfway through. Just didn't grip me.

Current re-reading the Troy series by David Gemmell with a big smile on my face. Wonderful wonderful series that had me laughing out loud many times. I reread it every autumn, giving a year gap. I almost envy people that haven't read it yet. Oh to read it again with fresh eyes and unknowing mind.

I've started, but I am struggling to get into, The Understudy by David Nicholls. I'm sure I'll finish it, but a little disappointed seeing as I enjoyed Starter for 10 so much

Just picked this up again, barely read any more of this once I posted this!

I have, for the first time, just read the Harry Potter books. Say what you want, I really enjoyed them! :D

Born To Run - Christopher McDougall, brilliant book, 10/10, can't put it down! Would recommend it to anybody, runners, none-runners, young and old.

From a Buick 8 by Stephen King.

My first stephen king, its good...not scary like I imagined just a bit creepy and unsettling.

The Talented Mr Ripley - Patricia Highsmith

I'm about half way through and so far I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I'm surprised at how quickly I'm getting through it, it's really hard to put down.
