what bought you to the ocuk website?

When I'm looking to upgrade, I like to see what different companies are offering. OcUK has been in my favourites list for years, although I do tend to go where the deals are, and there's also a competitor shop only 10 miles up the road from me, so they get a fair bit of my business purely because they're local, which means I don't have to wait for my 'fix' ;)

What brought me back here most recently? Purely the fact that they have PayPal on their list of accepted payment methods. As I've made all these millions (~£60) from Diablo 3, I needed somewhere to spend the money :)

Back in the days of Yahoo Chat, I came into some money and decided to buy a PC. A couple of the chat users recommended the shop. And from there I found the forums :D

I joined the pre-nuke community because it was such a warm fluffy and inclusive place to be...

Athlon Gold fingers were what brought me, but I didn't get one in the end... think first order was FOP32+Delta and AS having been on the forums a while.

What house music site was it because myself and a few others are from a certain house, well, trance music site - (mpfs)

I don't know how i ended up here tbh, but i know i was planning on building a pc at the time, i probably found the site through google.

Pretty sure it's just you and me ex-mpfs, no? :p

google sent me the ocuk webshop when i was searching parts for my first build but I didnt used it until my second build and saw the forums

Mate told me about the place so being bored I started posting. Ended up buying parts to build a pc from here, hopefully getting another one soon!

When I was at school we had a trainee teacher who connected his laptop to the network but didn't secure it. I was snooping around and found a link to here :)

Was in a clan with Gammawolf (forum member) and asked him for advice. He recommended here as a shop. I wanted free shipping. The rest as they say is history.

I was planning a new desktop build, here was the obvious place for help and advice.

Turned out to be awful advice, as I bought entirely rubbish parts, but meh, I appreciated the help. :p

Cant remember, I think I Googled some issues with my pc and these forums come up.

Looked around and eventually joined the forum.

My current rig was specced by forum members over four years ago and it's still going strong (gotta love the E7200). I got a new graphics card about 18 months ago which allows me to play all recent titles at respectful FPS. Not a single hardware failure! Probably just got unlucky.

Very unlucky, someone said, "don't go with an i5/i7, go for this AMD instead".

Hook, line, and sinker...

I think it must have been a fair few years ago there was an article in PC gamer where they built several PCs on different budgets and I'm fairly sure a large number of the parts were from OCUK. Ended up buying a load of stuff from here and now I'm on the forums.
