I use Firefox because I've been using a 'Mozilla' browser since they released their post Netscape engine and went open source. I stick with it because it's the only browser that let's me force page fonts to match my settings. It also has a few addons that I've gotten used to.
Most non coders testing chromium will be on ubuntu because the PPA system allows very easy installs. Chromium has fixed it's fonts of late so it's less ugly now. However it doesn't have middle click auto scroll and mouse wheel scrolling is limited to one line per notch. This makes browsing laborious and not worth the hassle at the moment.
