What car?? Bored of Type R

I don't want another Honda.

I want power through all rev range not at the very top.

Diesel then they have funky curves to that will give you something like that. If you have a flat torque curve, power will be at the top end of the rev range, thats the way it works.

Have to say the GT4 is a great choice of car. Mate has one. When the turbo went, used it as an excuse to fit a boost controller and remove the boost limiter in first and second. Goes very well now :D

Get a really cheap car for a while and save up your pennies. Then get an M5 or something half decent later on which you might not get bored with?

yeah the GT4s in comparison are buttons to insure
:)

No doubting their potential, and pedigree but I must say that a ride in a GT4 felt very unquick to me :(

I know it doesn't "sound as quick" as a VTEC but it never really seemed to feel like it was getting going, even though the speedo told a different story.

I like to feel the acceleration, but this was something I never got from the GT4.

I'm so tempted, just look at it!

But it has 92k miles on it and apparently they go bang at 60k but I guess it has had a rebuild.

You cant even manage to buy the most reliable performance car ever made without ignoring blatant warning lights on the dashboard and then subsequently blowing it up.

Do you honestly think an RX7 is the right car for you?

RX7 are sex but require a higher level of care than other cars in its class. I seriously considered one for a long time but ultimately couldn't run it as a daily, and couldnt afford to run two cars.

Its a shame as its an awesome car with awesome performance with timeless looks.

Stop. THINK about what you are suggesting here :p That car is a disaster waiting to happen and is exactly what you are not after in a car in terms of drivability.

Ouch!

I would have personally fluffed it up a bit more but the man has a point, if you can break a VTEC engine, you are either very unlucky or erring on the side of silly :)

There were no warning lights on when I bought it. (When it did come on, it was because of a dodgy lambda sensor).

Again, if you have nothing better to say, go away.

I thought the same about my mates GT4 until upping the boost a tiny bit and removing 1st and 2nd boost limiter. World of difference and cheap to do. Still quick as standard, just dont feel it.

I would seriously seriously advise against an FD enfield. First i dont think you will like its engine, and more importantly they obscene on fuel and equally unreliable.

Just dont, they are not good cars. I was going to buy one years ago, i was prepared to put up with the consumption and reliability, but the engine is horrible to drive too.

Test one for youself, you may like it i guess, my moneys on you not liking it though.
