No, the only Mini's that were either T/Charger or S/Charger were the S's none of the diesels were, the pre 2007 ones were S/Chargers and the ones after 2007 (The newer shape like mine) are Turbo.

I learned in a 56 astra 1.6 then a 57 plate of the exact same car. Gearbox just felt newer really. Nice car to learn in,quite slow but fine for lessons.

I first drove a 1.1i saxo and braked whilst hitting the accelerator and I drove my mates 2.0 tdi 130 mondeo for a bit which amounted to wheelspinning all the way through 1st by accident due to me being shown some torque lol.
