What car did you learn in?

Bike: CB500 :)

Car:
Instructor: 1.2 Clio - very basic, gutless engine, nothing else to say.
Personal: 1.6 Meganne - I sent the OH's dad out witht he money to buy a grey Civic Type S and he came back with a Meganne with HGF failure, no wonder the relationship didn't work out.
Parents: 2.0 Rav4 D4D XTR (at least it was comfortable/easy to drive).
 
1.5 kia rio diesel, horrible little car. ridiculously easy to drive though, drove itself really so a belter of a car for doing test.

that was my instructors car, couldnt wait to get home from lessons and drive my maws car, brand new renault megane 1.6. was quality to drive.
 
Started in a Diesel C3 - Then he upgraded to a Citroen C4. Lucky me...

Theres a Fiesta ST who ive seen a few time down the local retail park where all the chavs meet. Probably generates quite a bit of business driving through there at night to be honest.

Saw an instructor with an orange Focus ST the other day in stoke!
 
Early 90s Transit with normal wheelbase, like the paddy wagons, on my own at 15-16, officially learnt to drive in an 82 Corolla with a dodgy gearbox (gears would'nt go in without blippling the throttle) , passed test in a MK1 Micra as the Corolla died. 10yrs ago-ish.
 
Car : Some Mitsubishi thing (May have been a Colt?)

HGV Class 2 (C) : Ford Cargo.

HGV Class 1 (C+E) :Volvo FH12 & Scania 143M.

The motorcycle I was running at the time had almost the same capacity engine as the wee Micra puddlejumper. :D

I was one of the last in my brigade to be given driver training on a manual box fire appliance. We switched over to Volvo FL6 Auto's after that.

Can't remember if I posted in this or a similar thread but here goes, I learnt in a Mark II Ford Escort 1.3GL, think the car was gold in colour and then after 10 lesson my old man used to take me out in his, yes you guessed it a Mark II Ford Escort 1.3GL but his car was in puke green. :)
 
Punto which was replaced with a corsa after 5 or so lessons then after a further 3 or 4 my instructor decided to move up north ( I didn't think I was that bad at driving ).

New intructor had some kind of MG z(r?) hatchback which was totalled on the morning of my first test and replaced with a corsa. Passed on the second go in the corsa.

07 TD Fiesta while the clio was being repaired after someone crashed into my instructor and then finally back to the Clio
