Not how it works.
Its just that less than 10% buy high end cards.
Obviously there are some people here that has a lot of money and are not the average consumer.
the 90% that does not buy a 7900xtx/4090 usually buys something else.
Forums skews the ratio and people come to believe fairytales even.
so, no your comment dont make sense.
using a 6700xt at 4k and its amazing and dont need a high end card for it.
It would also triple the cost without giving any benefit.
Only compared to the other RTX 40 series cards.
This. My A770 plays many games at 4k on medium settings at a very acceptable framerate and visual quality. I can crank all the settings on my 4090, but graphical settings do not make a game.
Later patches much improved it uses much less vram, experience was great at 1440p after the patches , I refuse to entertain the current prices
4080 at £800 can't really knock that
£1000 is still too much, I can see nvidia pricing next gen 80 series at £1000 and people would buy because its dropped price sadly I see people giving in so will become the norm
I'll buy used
I've seen great deals in members market on this forum and with warranty, wouldnt look at ebay because its weird what used cards go for
Nitro 7900XTX, she's a beaut
I had a 4090 FE but realised its way overkill for what I play these days so sold it along with my 13700k and the Z790 motherboard. Had enough from the sale to buy a 7800X3D, B650E motherboard and a 7900 XT and still have a few hundred quid left over!
3090 fe. It's a beast of a card and just eats everything you throw at it. 5090 will be the next upgrade though
Na I payed the 1349 price. I don't regret it in the slightest though
£1,340 on eBay before fees and postage.
haha yeah, only need the 2 on the back of the case to cool the mobo VRM and the back of the gpu. System stays really cool, not heating issues like you can get with enclosed systems . Plus i really love the vertical stack layout, next case or frame will be the same i think.
Winter is amazing, literally keep warm in the office with the radiator connected to the rig. Can easily achieve 21c in the office without the heating on lol.
In summer, i've been tempted to hang the radiator outside but im worried the neighbours will give me a funny look, like im some sort of mad scientist .
3070 and I think it's a pretty rubbish card, was expensive, hasn't stood the test of time.
**** Nvidia.
Never again.
