What did you do to your bike today?

Fitted the parts except for the number plate & exhaust silencer as I'm waiting for them to arrive. It's starting to look road worthy again:

That's looking like a cracking bike for the money, how much do you reckon you've spent so far to get it on the road?

So far about £300 for a new rear tyre and the various parts, about another £150 to spend for the end can and a new number plate, so about £450 in total to get it road worthy. A fair chunk of that was for the L/H switchgear, I had no choice but to replace it as the indicator switch was totally worn out & the dipped/main beam switch was a bit ropey too. The front/rear brake light switches only came to about £25 in total, so considering the bike needed both it wasn't much out of the total parts outlay.

It's still a bit scruffy here and there atm but I plan to sort it and keep it as a winter/2nd bike as it runs so well. Besides, the insurance is only about £150 FC a year :D

Oh, I still have this (functional) original blade which I acquired a few years ago:

Turned it on and took it for a ride for the first time this year!

Replaced the rear brake pads and rode to work this morning. It's great to be back on!

Got my new Drift Ghost HD and fitted it to helmet :D
Don't feel confident with £250 being held on with an adhesive pad so I've got a lanyard tied into a small hole on the mount.. Better that than having it full off!

Could be going back soon though if this battery issue persists.

You'd be surprised how well they stick on though, had mine on for a few years now and plenty of 150+ mph runs with it stuck in the wind :D

What battery issue are you having?

Had my Ghost HD a few months now and it's been great on battery, done several 2+ hour runs without it going bellow 70%

MOT passed!

One advisory for slight misting on fork leg.

No advisory for excessively loud exhaust but he did say "my god thats ******* loud" :D

MTC Motorcycles in Reading are ***** when it comes to cans... They won't pass it regardless of me going there for the past god knows how many years. The chaps in Winchester who sold me my 1098S said they can give it to their MOT guys and get any bike passed. But it's a drive I can't be arsed to make :(

The multistrada will be up for it's first MOT in November this year.

Yeah it seems well attached to be honest! Probably getting a new lid this month so will have to buy another sticky pad mount anyway :p

Long story short is; I left in on charge for 6-8 hours ish, unplugged it, changed video settings and the battery indicator dropped to 2 bars.

Charged it back up overnight, did a 30min ride to work this morning and it was down to 1 bar!
That's at 1080p, 30fps, 170*fov, Wifi disabled.
I've Googled it and there's a few other people with issues such as the battery won't charge further than 60%
