What did you do to your bike today?

Owch. Lots of damage. Hope you mend up quick! Fingers crossed the insurance sort it quickly. Good news that no one was seriously hurt.

Wazza re the fuel I find it much the same. about 100 miles to 14l or so so just a tad under 35 MPG. should get a bit better as i was running a few tanks of v power and some redex to clear its throat after sitting for a year or so.

I think I manage 44 or 45mpg on mine, you have any other damaged panels? think you said u did

seen a few used ones on ebay recently,my zx10 drinks it in comparison

need to replace the front cowling and the rear panel. stator cover is polished too so needs to be replaced too. not too fussed about getting them done straight away so will pick them up as and when they appear in good nick.

wish i could get 45 MPG out of it! maybe once its not so new to me and my throttle hand gets a bit lighter!!!

you have 36cc more than me tho

looks nice machine,id get a rear hugger aswell, keeps all the crud off your shock and exhaust

Yea keeping the shock nice is gonna be a pain without! And its so pretty and new looking! it had never seen a wet day before last week :(

Only decent one i can find is about £80 on demon tweaks so will probably get it on payday.

the extra 36cc is noticeable. i didn't think it would be but you can defo feel it.

second big accident in 5 years.

Ouch!, i know it's a no fault accident buuuut, the insurance companies these days will take one look at that and...

Still, you get to walk ( hobble ) away for another day, which is all that matters tbh. :)

Shame about the k5 but glad your ok bud. Could have been a lot worse. So many planks on the road just not looking where their going.

Covered 390 miles yesterday was nice to get out for a proper ride also tested a new underseat mic setup with some success.

That poor K5 should be a crime to streetfighter one of those ;)

Glad you're ok though could have been a lot worse!

Nope as eddie said, woman in a car turned into my lane :(
Was only doing about 30, barely any time to stop so prob hit her at 20 square on, and I did a somersault over the top lol...
Amazingly I am ok, inner thigh is pretty tender but other than that ok, I don't know how though!
Usual stuff "oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't see you..."
Yes Scuzi two kids in the car :/ last thing I saw was this kids face in the rear window :( amazingly nobody hurt though.

Also got the whole thing on GoPro and so did my mate behind so got plenty of evidence, but of course no footage will be uploaded until insurance is all sorted.

Saw it on FB. Madness. Happened to me last year so know well what its like. Give me a buzz if you need any help with anything matey.

In my case the insurance wrote my B1H off for less damage (they costed forks/bodywork/calipers/wheels/more) and let me buy it back for £600. If they do similar for you, id probably recommend buying it and sticking some race bodywork on it and just have it for the track. Its well kitted and itll only cost you some bodywork. Selling a wrote off road bike is a nightmare and not fun!

*37cc :-p

Just back from cartagena myself after a 3 day test event.

I was booked to take the blade out but had a fall and broke my wrist and shoulder so couldnt ride. Went out all the same for the banter and spannered for a few mates. Was kept fairly busy with a few falls but kept me from wishing I was on track the whole time.

Friends race bmw

Awesome trip. Recommend anyone to do it either riding or for a laugh

So, it's safe to assume you're not coming to the meet in April? :P

Glad you're ok mate, I guess the silver lining is you won't be shown up by a lankey **** on a magic carpet running circles around you :D

Keep us all updated!

@Fireskull **** me you got lucky there, I've been through the same but didn't leave half the amount of damage you have left on that Pug. Comparing yours to mine you got well lucky.

Spent the whole day on mine yesterday, Gave it the after winter check even though it wasn't put away for winter, What Winter ? :p

So, Checked all the levels, took it for a gentle ride & then sorted the tyre pressures, Then went for a real good run out & was pleasantly surprised that no car drivers tried to kill me despite me being out for ages. Came back & lubed my chain whilst it was still warm & then gave it a good wash, polish & coating.
Came in to watch the rugby & walked Frank during half time so that as soon as the Rugby finished I could go straight back out. So all in all the bike came out around 10am & got put back in the shed around 6.15pm so although not the first time we've been out this year but definitely the first Full day.
