What did you do to your bike today?

The new mirrors look good, I just have to wait for mine to arrive! ;)

Thanks :)

Mine came quicker than expected, couple of weeks I think. Bit of a pain to install though, the screws that came with it were too big for my handlebars, so had to use the ones from my stock bar ends, then had to cut down the rubber they gave me to make some washers so it didn't interfere with the throttle.

that could be a plan. Would be a shame to get rid of the Hornet text though.

Hmmm, maybe!

Does that stuff look any good irl? I'd be worry about it not matching the tank & front fender and looking like a bit of a make-do mess :p

yh true, you can buy a pair of hornet stickers and stick them over the top?

can get it in carbon fibre look too

just been a ride and noticed some metal shavings/dust around the sprocket carrier spacer where the spacer itself have been rubbing ect, what you think? bearing on its way out? ill have to check tomorrow n get the wheel out

you might be ok if somes still sticking out,use a stud extractor on it

Yeah still plenty left. Thing is this was one of the better looking nuts. (Getting a set of stainless down pipes on the Fazer, soaked for the last few weeks in some penetration fluid and was 'sense checking' the nuts) The slightest of turn and hardly any force.... thonk!

Remapped the bike to suit the new Arrows, feels much smoother. Might have to see how they sound with the baffles out soon.

Thanks :)

Hopefully they won't be too much trouble on my bike, I'll upload a pic when mine arrive. For £20 it's still worth it even with the little bit of hassle installing :).

Finally got round to cleaning/taking some pics of changes since I bought it.

Tail Tidy
Crash Bars
Front Fork/Swingarm bungs
Akra can

I think next on the list is to replace the flat black plastic panels with the sexy carbon pieces :D

@agnes, you weren't at Hcafe tonight were you? someone there who looked just like you and I didn't want to be the guy asking 'erm, are you that guy off the internet forum'

100% worth it. First proper ride with them today and they almost give the bike a whole new life of handling. I know it's a bit of a placebo effect, but really feels good, I never realised quite how distracting my old mirrors were. Nice to not constantly have them in my face. Filtering is also even more fun :D

Wooop! Bike is getting delivered back tomorrow :D

In regards to the clocks, been dealing with quality care with Admiral and nobody at the salvage company is owning up so I will be getting compensation for the missing clocks also :)

To be fair Admiral have been brilliant the whole way through this.

Result.

I didn't even realise Admiral did Bike insurance, we have a family car policy with them. Not any cheaper if you have car cover with them too is it?

Currently using MCE for my bike cover.
