What did you do to your bike today?

Did your hanger just fail? I can't really imagine would go wrong, I'll make sure to tighten mine tmrw....

Bracket was fixed stiff still so it was the nut and bolt connecting the exhaust to the bracket. I'm lucky it didn't damage the down pipe really.

It's a Bonnie, it hasn't finished yet. :p

I know I know. I need to get a modern bike so the Bonnie gets a rest every now and then. I'll be going around every nut and bolt next weekend making sure they're all tight.

Debating what to replace the vfr with if anything, might just learn to drive after all.

Gonna depend what happens with insurance, but there goes my no claims :(

If it's non fault (which I'd damn well expect it to be) it won't affect your NCD, however you'll need to declare in the "have you had any accidents" when renewing, so it'll increase a little because of that but shouldn't shoot up.

God, watching that back makes me glad I'm not on the roads anymore! Just a bunch of absolute *****s out there.

I get a daily brake test every morning by some twit trying to shoot out of the same little side street without looking properly, keeps me on my toes.

More of my bad driving for you to enjoy ;)

Wasn't the closest but it shows that 1 second is a lot of time on the road!

That first one with the white car, you would have been out of sight just before they pulled out, and you should have been thinking "There's a gap. Why is there a gap? Is someone pulling out? Is a car turning? is a pedestrian crossing?" Probably didn't help that you came from lane 1 behind the white van into lane 2 which wouldn't have helped with your visibility.

Usually, if there's a gap in slow moving traffic it's because of someone letting a car out (possibly turning the opposite direction), or a ped/bicycle crossing, or a car from changing lanes.

No signs of anyone letting white car in, both sides a little trigger happy. And yea, biker could have read the road better, but as could have the car driver...

I wouldn't want to buy a bike that you have owned if that's how you treat it!

You need to calm down.

Ohhhh, this sub forum has become one of those sub forums. Calm down, he's riding very casually... Get off your high horse and back up.

White knights these days, so stuck up their arses.

If you mean him revving the bike off the limiter, we all do that sir :p they have a rev limiter for a reason, it doesn't damage the engine bouncing off the limit for a split second.

It's easier and generally louder than beeping the horn, no fumbling around trying to find the horn, a much easier way of saying "Oi!! I'm here you know!!" :D

Completely agree the car driver was a ***** for pulling out, but my point was that the gap in traffic was exactly the sign that a car could be pulling out. We have to take our safety into our own hands, if you leave it up the other numpties on the road we'd all be in wheelchairs! :p that sort of defensive riding, thinking all the time about what that car is doing, why is that happening, what could be happening there etc. is how you have to ride to avoid accidents.

Took the fairings off and cleaned the hell out of it, ordered a QS and Power commander V.

The bike had it's first dyno run a week or two ago so i could get a base figure, was chuffed to see it get 110Bhp at the wheel with only a slip on and a max torque of 44.74, tester commented that its a very strong engine.

Some vids

Plan is to get everything fitted Wednesday and book it back in for a custom map.

cant see anything wrong tbh, cars pulling out on you like that is to be expected, its a daily thing really

I always slow down at junctions/side junctions because you can almost guarantee that someone will pull out on you,esp with it being wet, pays just to be careful in those spots

@ uksoldierboy,i wish my 600 did 110bhp,id love to get it dyno'd just to see

@ one, thats the best with british bikes they become lighter as you ride them haha
