What did you do to your bike today?

Stock been a little tricky to get hold of, dealer got some allocation from Germany. Was not expecting them to arrive today, nice little surprise! Should have been the stock part on the bike, the standard levers are rather unattractive lumps!

If there not upside down forks then you should do them yourself, Hardest thing is suspending the bike, the fork seal & dust seals are a piece of **** to do. Only thing you have to be careful of is putting in the right amount of oil & Exactly the same in each fork.
Best way of suspending the bike is slinging a piece of rope over a joist & have a hook on either end that hooks under your bars, Once the bikes up the rest is easy. :)

I've changed seals before on other bikes, as well as rebuilding several 2 stroke engines, I just cab. But if it's more than 70ish then yeah I'll be doing it myself.

Fitted my HEALTECH Quickshifter,

Was easy to fit but time consuming to setup, using my phone to adjust the settings etc is pretty cool though, took it for a little run to test... Its savage:D

Little alien at first changing gear without using the clutch but soon got the hang of it.

Needs more fine tuning tomorrow, currently engages @4000rpm - 80m/s right to 16500rpm - 60m/s.

What bike do you have? also PICS! PICS!

HP levers look great Sin Chase, going to have to get the DP ones for my bike I think :D, little pricey though, I think about 300 Euros for the pair? I guess that is in line with your HP ones though?

About right, £133 each for the HP ones. Could have spent far less, but the HP ones look the danglies and are a perfect OE fit.

I've always been told not using the clutch going up gears wont do any damage to the gear box, but oviously ALWAYS use the clutch going down gears.
Most of the time if I'm giving it some, I won't use the clutch as gear changes are just so much quicker.

Yeah they do look good! Same with the DP ones, I think I will fork out the cash for them rather than buy cheaper ones, not be happy with them and then buy DP ones anyway  :)

ive done it when I was younger, but experience makes you wise

id only do it now if the clutch cable broke and I had no choice,it cant be good for your engine/gearbox

no matter what people tell you

its less stress for one thing, the clutch will skid a little and cushion the shock,as apossed to instantly changing gear without disengaging the clutch

cos im the daddy :mad::D

I love winding you lot up,and its your machine ride however you want to,me personally I like to look after my machines and they look after me
