140bhp at the crank not the wheel, also depends on the Dyno as there all pretty different and temperature can affect them.

For reference the last time I had it dyno'd was at PCR Performance in Cannock which showed 131bhp, this would be the equivalent to the green line on the print out.

Gave the exhaust a clean today.

What did you use to clean?

Yeah I'm claiming on her insurance. I'm sitting here thinking if I should tell mine that it happened. You know how they can be with such things. I don't want to end up paying double come renewal time since it wasn't my fault. statistics and all that.

Shouldn't increase your insurance cost. After I got knocked off a few years back, the following year's premium reduced and adding/removing the claim on GoCompare didn't do anything to the price. Same when my brother got knocked off.

My claim is still listed on my policy for another 2 years I think and it still goes down every year.

Last thing you want is for them to find out without you telling them.

Nice. So are you on the PCV with auto adjuster now then or did you decide against the auto addon?

How much did the runs and map cost? That place is only about 30 mins from me.

Nice. I guess you removed them to do it? I've been wanting to do my Hornet's downpipes as they're a bit of a mess but I fear siezed bolts at the headers. 30k+ miles of all weather, the corrosion up there is pretty bad :(

Both are fitted, the auto tune adjusts the small errors or any minor problem throughout the engine, the pcv is doing all the work.

I paid £252 for the pcv + autotune to be fitted, custom map + vat.

Chris

That EVO 6 system is the ultimate gen2 system, how much louder is it than your previous cans? If my Tuono behaves itself next year I'd love to pick up one of these. Yours looks brank new as there's no titanium blueing on the link pipes, how much and where from? :D

I washed my VFR. It was filthy due to the rain but it's dry this week so should stay clean for a few days :D No pleasure riding for me at the moment as the big Alps trip is in 3 weeks time, getting very excited!! :D

@Chris Very smart Aprilia bud... what year is that? I was looking at Tuonos from 09 for my next bike..

Are you looking at a factory or just an R model? There's plenty you need to check and a few common issues on these, but a lot will have been fixed on the 09 model. They're *generally* pretty reliable but can be troublesome...

Says the person who's aprilia isn't going to the alps because it can't be trusted :p

See above :p

All my bikes issues have been down to the fuel pump, or mechanics not torquing bolts to the right spec. :(

If I had the money to get the fuel pump replaced and the fork lower replaced I'd probably be doing the trip on it, it's not been out the garage since the 18th june, and it'll be SORN'ed in the next few weeks as the fuel pump is 100% dead so I need to drain the tank and replace it, then get the forks done over winter.
